I’d like to introduce our new learning system, where we connect learning to the needs of the individuals using Paths in an open source way.
People learn because they want to survive, thrive and live their best lives, so instead of having them learn and give them certificates or random jobs, we want to help them create their own source of income, and build shared wealth. In this state, their earning ability and their ability to live their best life are limited only by how active they can be.
This learning system is made up of Paths the individual takes to achieve their needs. And because they walk these Learning Paths openly, they gain the fast discovery, exponential innovation and enhanced security of anything open source.
Learning Paths
We have 3 Community Learning Paths to help you get started:
Community Apprenticeship Path
Community Incubator Path
Community Mentorship Path
Community Apprenticeship Path
Here we will take you through a Bootcamp and guide you through building a real community from scratch. Once you get this community off the ground, you start to earn your pay from us and/or the proceeds from the community. We can also help you get hired.
Community Incubator Path
Here we will take you through specially designed workshops to build a real community-centred business that solves a social impact pain point. We will help you make it revenue-generating and sustainable. Once you get this business off the ground, you start to earn your pay from us and/or the proceeds from the business.
Community Mentorship Path
Here we help you achieve the business goals set for a community you own. Once you hit your goals in the community, we will help you increase your revenue and get you funded.
Compensation Paths
There are 3 compensation paths.
Paid Path
Free Path
Earning Path
Each Learning Path starts as being paid and after a 3 month training period, it becomes free. Once the learner’s project gets off the ground, they start earning at least 60,000 NGN ($100) a month or for the mentorship, we fund them or help them get funding.
Paid Path
The 3 months paid training starts at 30,000 NGN ($50) a month. After individuals complete it, they are switched to the Free Path. Completion means they were able to create their learning project and get it into the hands of real world users. They cannot proceed without this.
While there is this payment, the program is free. We make sure you earn your money back as soon as your project is successful. The payment is to ensure commitment, think of it as staking your money to show you'll complete the program.
If the individuals are active enough, they’d get selected for our Express Path through the program.
Free Path
Once the individuals are done with the Paid Path where they’ve gotten their learning project into the hands of real world users, they move to the Free Path. Here, they continue working on their projects to get them self-sustaining and revenue-generating. Once sustained revenue is being generated from the project continuously for over 3 months, they are moved to the Earning Path.
Earning Path
Here, individuals start being paid or funded monthly and continue to work on their projects. They’ll be working to generate revenue for their community or business and make them self-sustaining. As they do this, their earning power increases.
To earn, individuals are either hired/funded by us, or hired/funded by a 3rd party. We work to ensure this happens within 3 months of their joining the Earning Path.
They start earning a minimum of $100 and this is increased by revenue generated from their projects. For those on the Mentorship Path, this is where we work with them to either fund them or get funding for them.
Express Path
This is our scholarship path, available to those who show excellent performance from their application to their activity in the program. In this Path, individuals can make their way to Earning within a month or two.
Once they join this Path, the individual’s initial payments are returned as the individual outperforms. This initial payment being returned is different from the earnings they would get in the program.
Outperformance here is measured by how quickly they finish the initial training and get their project off the ground. This measurement scales as more people run through the Paths faster. The shorter they do this, the better their chances of being invited into the Express Path. It is invite-only, highly selective and given at our discretion. If you are applying with the mindset of accessing this path and not the learning, it would be self-defeating and you would most likely not get selected. This is not scholarship as usual.
Learning Process
Learning happens as individuals complete tasks that make up their projects. The projects are worked on openly. They stay active and keep their space in the program via these tasks. Once an individual goes inactive, they are let go from the program. They are welcome to reapply after a 3-month break period.
Open learning enables scale and affords the individual and their project fast discovery, exponential innovation and enhanced security. Think of it like this; because you learn and develop openly:
interested partners and investors find you faster (fast discovery),
others outside the project can give you quick feedback and free contributions (exponential innovation) and,
issues and faults are easily discovered (enhanced security).

To apply, go through the materials that will be used across each training to see if it is something you find exciting. If it doesn't excite you, please do not apply. This is not another training to add to your belt, you will be let go if we find this out.
